Hey guys why is a ged not as good as a diploma???
I’m in the eleventh grade and have been feeling a little down since school started. I’m not sure if I should just try to obtain a GED. Please let me know what is the simplest to obtain or whether it is even worthwhile.
This and enroll in any pre-college or trade classes your high school may be offering! All you need to do is pass the classes, and my school will pay for your college education. Everything from CNA to welding is available. Are there any similar programs at your school? If yes, would be worthwhile to pursue?
If high school isn’t working for you and you know you’re going to college or a trade school, getting a GED can be an excellent option. Your last educational certificate on your CV shouldn’t be a GED. Employers willing to pay more want proof of completion of a project demonstrating your skill set. Before deciding, create a plan pertaining to your hobbies for the following several years.
Obtaining Ged is beneficial, but it isn’t actually superior to a diploma.
This is merely thinking while eating packing peanuts while sitting in the corner; it’s not creative thinking.
Aim for your high school graduation. YOU won’t have to pay the money for it. Don’t immediately enroll in college after that. that WILL set you back financially, and you won’t care enough to finish school. Go for an apprenticeship or a job after receiving your diploma—or better still, before then. You don’t always need college, despite what some people will tell you. Some people find that they excel in a particular trade and are just not suited for higher education, such as college.
A GED is often seen as less valuable than a high school diploma for a few reasons. Employers and colleges may prefer diplomas because they represent four years of structured education, while a GED is earned through tests.
