Why did a teacher play such a cruel prank on my brother?

I don’t want to go into all the details, but here’s what happened. My brother is in special education and he wanted out because he felt excluded from activities. My mom agreed to keep him in when the school promised he’d be included in things. The teacher, who my brother really liked, played a prank that involved all the other special education kids except him. Now my brother is blaming my mom for what happened. She says she yelled at the principal when he called to explain the prank. The next day, both the teacher and the principal apologized, but my brother is still angry. He thinks the teacher should have been fired. He also blames my mom for not standing up harder for him. She says the school admitted their mistake, but if they admitted it was wrong, why did the teacher do it in the first place?

This dude again. Oh my God.

Yeah. I have read this one at least twice before.

You’ve been posting this “story” for over a year. Next.

You don’t fire people over small mistakes. It also sounds like there’s a lot of misunderstanding in your family. Teachers don’t play pranks like that, and the school has no reason to leave your brother out. Unless there’s some hidden reason, your brother is just another student like everyone else.

@dominic
Happy Steve Not Being Here Day was put on the board. Why would they do that?

I don’t understand why you’ve posted this so many times. You also seem to pick and choose what details to share each time. How long ago did this happen?

It was 2 school years ago.

@Barbara
Honestly, I’ve seen your other posts and no, this wasn’t a big enough reason to fire the teacher or for your brother to leave school. It happened, though, and nothing can change that. Maybe try focusing on things you can control and move on.

@Mentor
He can’t. He hasn’t spoken to our mom since June, when he graduated. This clearly isn’t as funny as they think it is.

So, they played a prank on her and then apologized? Sounds like that’s what happened. Is that clear now?

What exactly happened here?

The brother is upset because he was left out, especially since he wanted to leave special ed classes because he felt excluded from things. His mom convinced him to stay, promising more inclusion. The teacher, who agreed to help, ended up playing a prank on him, leaving him even more upset. Now, the brother is blaming his mom for keeping him in the program, but it seems like the teacher and school are more at fault here. He just needs someone to be mad at, though.

Wait, are you the person who posts this same thing every couple of weeks?

No, I just read the post and thought you didn’t understand it, so I tried to explain it in a simpler way. Check the usernames, though.

@zodiac
Oh my bad. Thought you were the original poster. I’ve seen this story before.
