just graduated with kinesiology degree and realized i cant do much with it for good money, what other types of graduate degrees would be the most worth it? i was looking at nursing, data analytics, computer science etc
given your back ground bio-infomatics would be something worth looking into
Whatever one your current job will pay for lol. I’m working as an admin assistant at a university so that I can get my master’s for free. Takes away a lot of the pressure of it being “worth it.”
Computer information systems is something to look into. It’s more on the business and technology side. It’s very flexible and in demand with higher pay.

Not anymore. The field is over saturated.
@PixelPioneer
Curious why you say this. Across every aspect? BI, data analysts, data base managers, cybersecurty, app dev… all or are you talking about one area?

Across every aspect it’s over saturated. New grads cannot find jobs to save their life right now. With AI emerging too it’s going to be an apocalypse within this space as well as most of the roles in tech are highly automatable.
My son graduated with an undergrad degree in athletic training, and two years later he returned to school to become physical therapist.

PT is kind of a meme… graduated and employed? Or still pursuing? I’d reconsider if the latter.

He graduates in May 2025.
I wish him luck in the job market, definitely heard some horror stories. Being an educated professional should be rewarding.
NP probably makes more than the average MBA.
With your undergrad I would maybe look at a masters in Human Factors then come join us at NASA.

What is that lol
What motivated you to study kinesiology? That might help with choosing the best fit in a master’s program.

Likely an athletic scholarship and an aversion to studying.

Do athletic scholarships require one to study kinesiology?
I think that is one of the majors where you can get class credits for basically lifting weights. A way to keep athletes eligible.
One that will get you a job outside of education if/when you do that.
There are TONS of people with CS degrees looking for work. And advanced degrees in that field generally don’t help.
