What is harder? ged or high school diploma?

I’ve been feeling quite depressed since the school year started. As an 11th grader, I’m contemplating whether it might be easier to pursue a GED instead of finishing high school. Can anyone provide some insight on which path is less difficult or if getting a GED is even worth considering?

Choosing between a GED and finishing high school can be tough. Getting a GED might be a bit quicker and focused, while high school involves a longer commitment but offers a broader education. Finishing high school can sometimes be better for college and job prospects, but if you’re feeling overwhelmed, talking to a counselor might help you figure out the best path for you.

I’m sorry you’re feeling this way. Don’t blame yourself. While a GED might seem like an easier escape route, a high school diploma opens more doors for college and future jobs. Plus, your school counselor can be a huge support system to help you manage stress and make things more enjoyable. Getting a GED involves tests and studying too. Honestly, you’re almost done with high school. Talk to your counselor about making it work for you. They might have options to lighten the load or support your mental health. You got this dude…
