We’re a group of UX Design students from the University of North Texas, and we’re running a survey about using artificial intelligence in K-12 education. We’d love it if current and former teachers could take part and share their thoughts.

I started answering your survey but stopped because of some issues. First, you ask if I’ve used AI with students, and I said no, but then the next question asked me to rate my use of AI, which doesn’t make sense since I haven’t used it. There’s no option to select N/A. Also, there are too many open-ended questions. I’m not sure why you’re asking about my relationship with advanced students and their parents in relation to AI use. My advice is to remove the open-ended questions and reconsider the purpose behind your questions

This survey is completely a mess. I’ll happily give my time to some college students, but my goodness, there’s a design lesson to be had in crafting an effective survey…

I completed the survey, even though I don’t work directly with parents anymore. I’m an Instructional Technology Coach, and I mainly work with teachers and occasionally with their students. I found the survey interesting, but I believe it could include better and more relevant questions.
