Unsure if I should do one year of pedagogy before studying to become a teacher..?

I’m 21 years old, and while I enjoy learning and being a student, all I want is a job. I’m going to start working when I’m 27, and it stresses me out a lot.

Is studying pedagogy worthwhile? It looks pertinent, and I find it really fascinating. I completed a year of media studies, and I excelled in media pedagogy, which inspired me to pick up my studies again.

Pedagogy can be an excellent foundation if you find it engaging and it interests you. It may better prepare you for teaching and could be worth the additional year if it aligns with your goals.
