Reviews on Junior National Young Leaders Conference (JrNYLC)

I’m thinking of enrolling my child in the Junior National Young Leaders Conference (JrNYLC) and would love to hear from anyone who has experience with it. I want to ensure it’s a valuable experience before making a decision.

Could anyone who has attended or knows about JrNYLC share their thoughts and reviews? How was the program structured? Did it provide meaningful leadership development opportunities for young participants?

Your insights would really help me decide. Thank you in advance for any information you can provide.

You’re considering sending your child to a camp called JrNYLC and want to know if it’s a good fit. Since there’s limited information online, you can:

  • Search for the camp on social media or review sites.
  • Contact the camp directly to ask about their programs and activities.
  • Compare it with other camps that focus on teaching leadership skills.

When evaluating camps, consider:

  • What they teach the kids.
  • Whether they make learning fun.
  • If kids have access to supportive adults.
  • Opportunities for kids to work with others.
  • If the camp offers good value for the cost.

My daughter attended the previous year. She reported that although there were a few bumps during her first week, she had a great time overall. (but most likely just staying apart from us). She received an invitation to return this year. Last year, she shared a room with two people, but only she and one other were welcomed back. She decided she wanted to return after that and is returning as an alumni.

This year, my daughter is also participating. Can you please share more information?
