Due to financial difficulties, I was only able to purchase Mindtap today. My professor has homework that are due by midnight tomorrow, however it instructs me to take a break and return tomorrow. 
Is there a way to get over this and continue working?

You cannot proceed. If it’s arranged as it was for my psychology class last year, you won’t receive full credit until you wait for the designated time. I believe it’s usually a 5-hour gap between study sessions.
