How to get an Adult Education Credential in California?

Hi everyone! I’m looking into teaching adults in California, but I’m struggling to understand how to get a Designated Subjects Credential in Adult Education. Can anyone help me with the process or point me toward programs that offer it?

They usually pull from teachers who already work with kids.

I taught adult ed for a while.

If you’re looking into teaching at a college level, though, that’s a different ballgame.

Thanks for the info! I’m thinking about the community college system.

@RaeganRevord
Community colleges are competitive and impacted, so it’s tougher to get in.
