What is the salary range for principals and vice principals?
Principals and vice principals on EDUCATIONFOLKS, what is your salary? I’ve heard that in Los Angeles, it can be as much as $180k per year. I’m currently in high school and am very interested in a career in education.
Any insights about this…?

$138k. No, we don’t get summers off, and with the hours we work, it averages out to about $5 per hour. 
Administrators definitely earn every penny.
True, but teachers who choose to teach summer school, doctors, police officers, and engineers don’t have summers off either. At least you get holidays and weekends.
