How exactly do private high schools prepare pupils for higher-ranking universities?

I am attempting to determine the significance of a private high school in university acceptance. Are the pupils better equipped in STEM than the public and perform better on the SAT? Do people at private high schools have stronger connections?

Growing up, I attended a public high school where resources were limited, and I had to seek out extra help for STEM subjects through online tutorials and community programs. My friends who attended private schools often had smaller class sizes, more experienced teachers, and advanced facilities, which seemed to give them an edge in subjects like math and science. They also had access to SAT prep courses and college counselors who provided personalized guidance. When it came time to apply for universities, some of them had connections through their school’s alumni network, which opened doors that might not have been available to those of us in public schools. While private school students might have certain advantages in STEM preparation and university acceptance, I believe that motivated students from any background can achieve similar success with the right support and determination.

Compared to public schools, private schools most often push their pupils harder, resulting in graduates with greater knowledge and academic proficiency.
