I graduated several years ago with a B.A. in California, but now I’d like to pursue a different degree. However, after calling several campuses, I was told that one cannot be an undergraduate twice, which leaves me feeling stuck.
Is there a way to still get a second bachelor’s degree, specifically a B.S.?
Adding my two cents, you can essentially earn as many bachelor’s degrees as you want in Texas. Most core/basic classes in Texas do not need to be retaken in order to earn a second bachelor’s degree (for example, you are not need to retake the freshman English course you had passed with your first degree).
I’m an international student with a bachelor’s degree already, but I discovered in my third year of college that I don’t enjoy this topic. In my home country, students are not allowed to switch their majors after their first year of college. Can I pursue another B.S. program that relates to my interests, then? And since my income is so low, is it possible for me to receive a scholarship for that?
Instead of applying for a second degree, I would suggest you enrol to vocational tech schools as they are cheap and you graduate with market ready skills. Also, the courses they offer are highly marketable
