Are charter schools better than public schools?
While watching Abbott Elementary, I started wondering about the differences between charter schools and public schools. Since I’m not from the US, I thought it would be an interesting question to explore.
Smaller class sizes and speciality programmes are probably what you’ll discover at charter schools. However, in most cases, having no union means that there would be fewer programmes and specialists as well as a high instructor turnover rate. Other than what the instructors have in their classrooms, the one public option in our district doesn’t even have a library.
Sometimes, charter schools have less experienced teachers. In some cases, students might feel like they’re seen more as money than individuals.
