For students who are required to use Cengage, the $120 plan should not be chosen over their eTEXTBOOK option. All of this is included in the $70 price, with the exception of Mindtap. All you have to do is look up “Cengage Unlimited eTEXTBOOK” on the shopping tab. This way, unless Mindtap is needed for assignments, you can access your textbook at a more affordable fee. I wish you luck in locating substitutes.

Here’s some more information: the majority of the books published before 2000 were some of the greatest I’ve ever seen in the field of education. They were published between 2000 and 2007 ish. Textbooks were completely messed up by NCLB/CCSS.
I managed to go three days without seeing this. I think that was my longest streak to date.
I think these materials are filthy rubbish, but you are being unreasonable when you declare that “any ‘teacher’ who uses Mindtap/Cengage ISN’T A REAL TEACHER!” The instructor doesn’t always decide which materials are used in the course.
