I’m considering enrolling at Capella University for Data Science . I’ve heard mixed reviews about online learning and flexible schedules.
Has anyone had experience with Capella University? What were your thoughts on the coursework, faculty, and overall experience?

Capella University: Is It the Right Choice for Me?
A lot of “for profit” educational establishments are frauds. They urge people to “attend” their programs even if they don’t think they can succeed in an accredited institution or university. A program that is accredited cannot accept the majority of credit hours. “For Profit” schools are appealing because they provide unique incentives for student loans and “online” education. They frequently cause you to incur unnecessary student debt. Beware of such online schools; some that enroll are con artists. You must thoroughly investigate the histories of these institutions and pose numerous inquiries.
As a college writing tutor, I worked with maybe seven Capella students, though I’m not a nurse. The reason they did it was that having a degree was a requirement at their place of employment, regardless of its origin. In three months, they obtained a BSN or an MSN and assumed a more senior post, proving that their plan to grow professionally within their current network of employers was successful. I’d go elsewhere if you’re concerned about the school’s reputation. It might be feasible if demonstrating your degree and convenience are your main concerns.
I have experience and thought a bachelor’s degree would help me get a better position, but as others on Reddit have pointed out, these online colleges don’t have the best reputation.
