I wanted to seek advice on r/college advice, but it appears inactive. Apologies if this isn’t the right place, but I need help with my Economics class. It started online this week, and with bills and supplies, I’m left with just $20 until the end of the month. I require access to Cengage for coursework, but the access code costs $120. I can afford it by the 31st, but this week’s expenses have been overwhelming. Do you think my professor could offer a solution if I reach out, or am I out of luck?

Send your professor an email explaining that you are unable to pay for the website’s access code. For such website, they may have a temporary access code. For these kinds of things, the university, school, or department may also offer a grant program.
hi carson,Your loan servicer might know about programs that can assist with textbook and access code expenses.
Student government or advocacy groups could provide advice or support in this regard.
