But if OP is being assaulted in school, how can they ‘remove themselves’ without defending themselves?
Good question! There are ways: Walk away, don’t respond, tell a teacher, use defensive moves to block but not hit back. It’s about de-escalation. Stay calm and remove yourself safely if possible.

Explain how I’m in the wrong. If you were on the street and got sucker-punched, you’d defend yourself too.
You weren’t on the street, and you know it’s different. Stay away from problems, walk away if things get heated. I’ve never had to defend myself like that because I don’t get into those situations. Grow up or you’ll end up in jail.
@AmeliaScarlet
I’m not letting someone repeatedly hit me in the head. I was defending myself, and I don’t like how you all are trying to make me the bad guy.

Take responsibility for your choices and learn to avoid trouble.
Seems like you might need some counseling to help with anger management. This many confrontations isn’t normal, and consequences get worse as you get older. The alt school should have access to counselors. Take responsibility while you’re there, and good luck.
You don’t see how your actions are part of the problem. You’re in school, not on the streets, and getting into fights repeatedly is not normal. Wake up before you find yourself in the school-to-prison pipeline.

Just to clarify, when I told the kid to pick up his broken bottle, it was a joke, but he got mad and tried to slam me.
So you joked with someone you thought was your friend, and they tried to slam you to the ground? That doesn’t sound like a friend or maybe you overreacted.
