Anyone know where to find a remote EdTech sales job?

Hey everyone,

I used to be a middle school teacher and administrator but transitioned to FinTech a few years back. I’ve got experience and success in both client management and sales. Now, I’m hoping to move into educational technology for my next career move. I’m based in Texas and looking for a remote or travel-heavy position. Any advice, leads, or referrals would be amazing. Thanks so much for the help!

I made a similar transition, and there are a lot of people on LinkedIn who post weekly lists of EdTech jobs. Feel free to message me, and I’ll dig up some of those for you! It helps to apply as soon as jobs are posted, so sort listings by ‘most recent.’

In interviews, play up how teaching is really about selling knowledge—companies love former educators! Good luck

Check out the job board on EdSurge. That’s where I found my current EdTech job.

ClassLink is hiring for a sales role right now. We have several team members based in Texas, spread throughout the state. I used to be a teacher and assistant superintendent, and this has been the best organization I’ve worked for.

Are they the ones who do Single Sign-On (SSO)?

Yes, we handle SSO, identity management, and rostering.

EdTech.com posts job openings regularly.

I saw that OpenAI is hiring for education sales positions.

Try checking out companies like Echo360, PointSolutions, Kaltura, or Anthology.

Isn’t this position listed as hybrid in Goteborg? Are you looking for someone in the US?

Check out Jeff Patterson, the CEO of Gaggle, on LinkedIn. He posts a lot of EdTech job openings.

There’s a solid job board on EdSurge.com, and you can also check out the ‘Teachers in Transition’ forum.

Thank you, everyone! I appreciate all the help!
